CoverPad in 20 seconds: a keyboard case made for the 10.2-inch iPad (7th, 8th and 9th generation). It adds a backlit keyboard with adjustable colors and a touchpad, and protects the tablet at the same time. Official price US$79.95 with free shipping, or less per unit in bundles.
Know before you buy: check your iPad model first (see the table below), and note that the checkout adds a 1-year protection plan (US$9) by default. Untick it if you don't want it.
Typing on glass gets old fast
The iPad is great for watching and browsing. But the moment you need to write a long email, a school essay or notes in a meeting, the on-screen keyboard eats half the screen and your fingers keep missing.
The CoverPad fixes exactly that. Open the case, stand the iPad up and you have real keys and a touchpad in front of you. When you're done, it closes like a book and keeps the screen protected in your bag.
